Hello,
KDE Menu Editor does not save shortcut key. I set the shortcut key, click on  
Save, a small window appears showing  "Updating system configuration." After 
closing KDE Menu Editor, there is no response to the new keyboard shortcut. 
Running KDE 4.3 factory on SuSE 11.1.
