leverandörändring is the "vendor change" they've talked about. This alone should clear up a lot of the issues. For the rest, whenever you see an option that suggests a "leverandörändring", go with it.
People really should use "zypper dup" for a [distro->]KDE:KDE4 repo upgrade which accepts vendor changes and properly does package splits and renames.
I repeat myself but it's tested and working:

Hi Steve and list, - thank you for your input :-) I believe the text in the suse-web needs clarification...: "If you have KDE:KDE4:Community or even KDE:KDE4:Playground repositories registered update their URLs to: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Community/openSUSE_11.1... (community packaged, not in distribution) http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Playground/openSUSE_11.... (development snapshots/releases!)" What zypper command will "update their URLs to..." As a side note, I followed your advice earlier, zypper does its work, the commands perform without errors. And also without effect, nothing changes. You log out, you log in, and you're still on KDE4.1.3 :-) -- ------------------------------ Med venlig hilsen/Best regards Verner Kjærsgaard -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
