HI all, I need to set up a dev file and have it stay even when I reboot. I'm trying to set up a web cam so I need /dev/video0 and /dev/video1. I don't know if I need anything else. When I run lsusb I get this: Bus 003 Device 008: ID 0c45:613e Microdia PC Camera (SN9C120) The correct driver is on my system. But when I run "camelot" I get this error: [i_v4l]: Cannot open device /dev/video0: No such file or directory [webcam]: Initializing V4L failed, check settings [vloopback]: vloopback open failed: No such file or directory When I run "luvcview" I get this: linux-k2k3:~ # luvcview luvcview 0.2.4 SDL information: Video driver: x11 A window manager is available Device information: Device path: /dev/video0 ERROR opening V4L interface: No such file or directory Any ideas?
