Is the milestone very buggy?
very? Not in my opinion.
Does anyone use it?
Since 28 June doing daily "zypper dup" w/o many problems and the *only* system downtime is from rebooting for a new kernel.
You really should take this conversation to opensuse-factory where you can find people using, contributing and interested in 11.2 :^)
addendum: :^) It is now Milestone 6, and all is rosey.
For me it's definetely not working. Nothing of what I need is running on the MS5.

I don't even get as far as doing any "running" :-( . I have now downloaded 3 copies of MS5 - KDE Live CD - and they all end up with a pitch black screen after some whirring activity of the CDs. So I have been playing around with Kubuntu 9.10 - which is very nice, and all things work after a painless installation. (Oh, every copy of the MS I have so far downloaded - beginning with MS2 - produce an error message, "no properly formatted MD5 checksum lines found" when I do the md5sum check on the isos.)
