Hello, I found problems when trying to produce sounds with an older laptop (dell latitude) using the flashplayer (youtube etc.). There is no sound at all. :( From the information I can find from the web, I understand that flashplayer uses the libesd0 library to make the sound, but then this library seems to use OSS instead of ALSA. (see for example http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=364121 ) OSS does not work in my case (intel 82801CA-ICH3). (I need to set explicitly for example kaffeine to use ALSA). Any ideas? Is there any way to configure flashplayer / libesd in such a way that is uses always ALSA ?
