Hello everyone, yesterday I tried to get the Fritz! Wlan stick working and almost got mad during the day I spent searching for the problem. The stick itself is installed quite fast and easy with ndiswrapper and it works with an unencrypted network, however as soon as I try to connect to an WPA/WPA2 (Personal) encrypted network it fails, wpa_supplicant prints a lot of stuff and it looks like it's caught in an endless loop of requesting a key but then dropping it again and rejecting the connection. I did 8 hours of googeling yesterday and found some suggestions (like different kernel(although I did not try <2.6.25) , self compiled ndiswrapper (with DEBUG=3 and USB_DEBUG=1), updated wpa_supplicant ... After I resignated I'm just wondering if anyone has this configuration up and running (stable) or wheather it's just not possible? Regards Michael P.S.: I didn't try a Kernel version below 2.6.25 when not-proprietary drivers were still allowed in the kernel. Do you think it's possible/worth trying such an old kernel and use the original AVM driver?
