I am getting a problem with my sound card, sometimes it works the others
not. It is an ALC883, the relevant section of the log shows:

Jul 28 13:58:42 rimaws kernel: hda_codec: Unknown model for ALC883,
trying auto-probe from BIOS...
Jul 28 13:58:42 rimaws kernel: ALSA sound/pci/hda/hda_codec.c:3276:
autoconfig: line_outs=4 (0x14/0x15/0x16/0x17/0x0)
Jul 28 13:58:42 rimaws kernel: ALSA sound/pci/hda/hda_codec.c:3280:
speaker_outs=1 (0x18/0x0/0x0/0x0/0x0)
Jul 28 13:58:42 rimaws kernel: ALSA sound/pci/hda/hda_codec.c:3284:
hp_outs=1 (0x1b/0x0/0x0/0x0/0x0)
Jul 28 13:58:42 rimaws kernel: ALSA sound/pci/hda/hda_codec.c:3285:
mono: mono_out=0x0
Jul 28 13:58:42 rimaws kernel: ALSA sound/pci/hda/hda_codec.c:3293:
inputs: mic=0x19, fmic=0x0,line=0x1a, fline=0x0, cd=0x0, aux=0x1c

Now, I am guessing that it has something to do with the "unknown model",

lspci shows:

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio
Controller (rev 02)

I have searhced google and cannot see anything that matches. When the
drive loads, I get sound, but every 2 boots I get no sounds
