Hello :-) Can you give me the right options to format with FAT32 a 160Gb hard drive (USB). I need it to use with a databank (flash card copier) that reads nothing else. I *could* format it successfully with a windows utility (but with XP in virtualbox, not handy), but would like to do in linux :-) mkdosfs -F32 -n photos -v /dev/sdb1 seems to work but ends in some seconds (too fast) and the result is not seen by the device thanks jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.org http://news.opensuse.org/2009/04/13/people-of-opensuse-jean-daniel-dodin/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
