Beeing a roaming user, I would like to use my own postfix server to send mail from my laptop to the world (like I do with my present ISP) from any location (my ISP don't allow mailing from outside my country)
I can now connect to the server to read the mail, but sending gives "Relay access denied".
How can I allow the relay with login.passwd
Keyword: SASL. It's a little complicated to set up, but it works. I'm not sure, but I think you might have to recompile openSUSEs postfix to enable e.g. cyrus SASL. An alternative might be a pop-before-smtp solution. /Per -- Per Jessen, Zürich (25.4°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
