Using: openSuse 11.1, Linux version 2.6.27.23-0.1-default KDE 4.1.3 Digikam 0.10.0-beta6 The only reason now i don't use digikam is that it doesn't print at all. Many times i tried to find the reason, but i can't find. I reinstalled digikam_kde4 and started it in a fresh user-environment but the problem stays. The problem: After starting digikambrowser and clicking on a picture I get the view-area but no picture. After entering the edit-area i get the picture and i can do everything with it except printing. Doing a -file -printimage absolutely nothing happens. In the view-area there is also no printwizzard in the image menu. All my other applications are printing correct only Digikam doesn't. On a free partition i have installed OpenSuse 4.2 milestone 2 Digikam prints correct there. Does anybody have any idea what can be wrong ? Or else the question "how does an application look for or collect the available printqueues" ?
