Hi I have tried installing KDE4 on both 10.3 and 11.1 (both 64 bit)) On 11.1 any version I try to install from here http://en.opensuse.org/KDE4#KDE_4.2_Project using one click leads to a whole list of dependencies that I cannot work out how to solve. On10.3 from the same link I have successfully installed KDE 4.3 via one click with no problems. I do not understand why this should be. I'm quite happy with 10.3 on my main box as it works particularly with RealPlayer which does not play nicely with 11.1, and is an essential app for me basically for BBC Radio. However much I've tried I.ve never got RealPlayer to work on 11.1 to the extent that I can (as I do with 10.3) stream the programmes and record the with Audacity. I have posted about this before but never received a response. I have another box currently on 11.1 where RealPlayer is not an issue. what I would like to do is update KDE4 on that box to the latest version. I have tried the same method from one click and end up with the same dependency problems. I have tried to follow the threads about KDE4 on this list but they seem to end up down a number of blind alleys. So could somebody suggest to me how to upgrade KDE4 on my other box. It has a fresh install of 11.1 with KDE4 12 and KDE 3.5.10. TIA Mike -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
