On openSUSE 11.1, with:
- KDE 4.2 or newer,
- the NVIDIA proprietary driver
- KWIN as the window manager
Is there any need to enable:
- Compiz (e.g., /repositories/X11:/Compiz/openSUSE_11.1/)
- Xgl (e.g., /repositories/X11:/XGL/openSUSE_11.1_KDE4_Factory/)
I would think they are not needed. In fact, could anything from them that is already installed really be needed?
If I am not mistaken you do not need any of those two and can remove the packages. If I run zypper se compiz or zypper se compiz none of the available packages are installed. I use kwin with the nvidia binary drivers and KDE 4.3. Sven -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
