Roughly 6 years ago SuSE forum helped me install both SuSE ans Windows on the

I haven't done that since then any more.
I have installed SuSE 11.1 on my dektop at the lab. I have an empty partition.
How can I install Windows as well so as to create a dual-boot ?
Maybe this can be handle by Grub ?

It is usually easier if Windows is installed first, and Linux after, as
Windows is notorious for removing any other OS boot info, whereas
openSUSE gladly detects the Windows partition and adds it to grub
without a hassle. But all is not lost:

I would suggest the following:

1) Install Windows into the free partition, letting it do it's dirty
deeds.

2) Boot the openSUSE install DVD. Do not do an install. Choose that you
want to repair the system. In the menus there you can limit it to
sorting out the boot stuff. openSUSE will then set up grub, along with a
Windows entry.

You can try step 2 right away to see that it works. It is a really nice
SUSE feature.
