What happened? Did the packages change or is there a string of packages with bad checksums? Just thought I would pass it along...
The package might have changed in-between due to a rebuild ... But the -release should be different then.
So try: zypper refresh and dup again.
And _never_ accept packages with bad digests! These might just be replaced RPMs with rootkits inside!

Uugh... Thanks for the good advise Marcus. I have restarted the update. I have run into another little snafu: Retrieving package java-1_5_0-gcj-compat-devel-1.5.0.0-107.4.x86_64 (22/205), 24.0 KiB (59.0 KiB unpacked) Retrieving: java-1_5_0-gcj-compat-devel-1.5.0.0-107.4.x86_64.rpm [error] File './x86_64/java-1_5_0-gcj-compat-devel-1.5.0.0-107.4.x86_64.rpm' not found on medium 'http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Java:/packages/openSUSE_11.0/' Abort, retry, ignore? [_a_/r/i/?]: i You have chosen to ignore a problem with download or installation of a package which might lead to broken dependencies of other packages. It is recommended to run 'zypper verify' after the operation has finished. (this was before I read your message on the 'i' option. Maybe we should remove the 'i' option completely if the security implications warrant it) Additionally, I use 'zypper up' instead of 'zypper dup' so the core of my box remains 11.0. I can't go to factory because I have an ATI "legacy" chipset (RS690M) in my laptop and if I move to xorg 7.4, there is no fglrx driver support ( the 8-10 throught 9-3 driver releases are just broken for my hardware) Without fglrx gpu powerdown capabilities, my 'laptop' turn into a 'nutcooker' :p -- David C.
