Thank you, Andreas. Will do so first chance I get, probably a bit later
today.

After my initial post, it occurred to me to look at the susebugs list,
where I saw a number of recent (last couple of days) entries re: tomcat6.

However, my problem seems to be a bit different, so I will take your
advice in order to help resolve this issue.
