All, How do I install the "info" package? ==> details I had a server fail to reboot this morning after a long power outage last night. Hardware seems to be fine, but my boot config was destroyed. Things I've done so far: 1) copied in /boot from a working machine. Edited menu.lst to have the right config 2) copied in /lib/modules from the same machine. Note that 2 machines were running different kernel releases for whatever reason. 2.6.27.21 on the failed machine and 2.6.27.19 I believe on working one. 3) Disabled http proxy setup in Yast. (how did it get there? Never use a proxy here.) 4) I can use yast to install a package now. 5) Fails when I try to upgrade to the latest kernel: ==== Subprocess failed.
