What is the meaning of nil in hosts as:
1270.0.1 nil
in place of localhost?
"nil" means that the variable holding the hostname (in this case "localhost")
hasn't been initialized. It's a bug, somewhere. Report it, and include
anything special you did when installing your system in your bug report
