[opensuse] kde4: kmail -> configure kmail -> colors -> use custom colors (then how to change them??)

Listmates, I need to make a change to the kmail new mail color so I went to "kmail -> configure kmail -> colors -> use custom colors" After selecting the checkbox for custom colors I can't seems to change anything. I have clicked, (Rt. Lt. & Middle) clicked, but no option to change the colors. What gives? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
