I note that YaST shows no releases of kontact (or its major components) more recent than e.g. kmail v1.9.10, while users of other distros (Fedora has kmail v1.11.3). But YaST does show kontact components at v4.1.3. I am running v11.1 x86_64, and chose to install KDE3 in it. I gather from the presence of these KDE4 apps in the YaST database that it is possible to replace the KDE3 versions of kontact with their KDE4 equivalents. Can someone tell me if there is a downside to doing this? And what is involved in transferring all the data and settings to the KDE4 versions? -- Stan Goodman Qiryat Tiv'on Israel -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
