We have recently moved our business location, and need to setup a VPN server/endpoint at the new location. I am a little vague with VPN, so please help me out! We have a Suse 11 server, that is basically a test box looking for a purpose at the moment, and I was thinking I could utilise that to allow users to setup a connection on their home computer (be they Windows - probably... - or whatever), to VPN into the work LAN and map drives etc... We previously had a router that had VPN endpoints on it, but this is no longer in use. Have done lots of Googling for VPN/Suse/endpoint etc, but have not really come up with the conclusive howto on setting this up.. I am assuming also that if we do this, the modem/router needs to have "VPN passthrough" (preferably multiple) to enable access to the server...? This can't be setup just by forwarding ports, etc?? Thanks for all/any help! John. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
