That's harder to detect, but you'd already notice it from the hundreds or

1. if some one from a remote machine tries to connect my computer
Someone would have to write an app to tie into the various notification
systems, but the ULOG target of iptables should allow this. Of course, it
might be thousands of attempts a day for a computer with a publicly routable

my ip
