Listmates,
My son got an ip "touch" for his birthday and I'm trying to figure out the tools on Linux to use. So far I can see the device, but that's about it. I have used the tools in oss, pacman and banshee, but I'm still stuck any hints?
I find that gtkpod works very well with my daughters ipod nano. Regards Dave P
Thanks Patrick, Jay and Dave, I've never heard of foola, I'll take a look. Amarok looks like the most likely candidate, as gtkpod works great with the nano, but I can't get it to work with the 'touch'. I wish I liked Amarok better, but every time I use it, it turns into a battle. I'll report back. On a different note the new KDE eGroupWare Wizards Rocks along with the new kmail! I haven't used kmail in years and didn't have any other mail package installed in an ArchLinux install I did so I fired it up and spent time configuring it and .... wow, this thing integrates with my eGroupWare install now. Woohoo! Damn Linux is getting good! -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
