I have an HP monitor (W2407) with built-in speakers. The monitor is
connected to the computer via an HDMI cable, but there is no sound.
You man try change the preference of the device used. If you're using KDE4,
that's in "Configure Desktop", "Multimedia", on "Device Preference", Prefere
the HDMI device to the first. Not sure PulseAudio would work or not, I know
few about it.
