To me it was the closest thing to the Workplace shell alltogether. If only IBM
would port this...

The Workplaceshell should be an inspiration, not Aero or Aqua. No one here has
answered the nbasic question as to _how_ the "eyecandy" (3D, transparency,
animations, bouncing icons, etc...) are supposed to increase _efficiency_

It seems to be sort of an axiom: we are told that all this is about increased
efficiency, but it is not to be demonstrated it seems
