Actually, except for the look and feel of KDE 3.x, there's nothing I'd 
miss.  As long as NMAP, MAME, Wesnoth, Firefox, Thunderbird and OOo work 
(along with Crossover Office) then I'm good.  :)

Once you get rid of the desktop container thingy, it isn't that bad.

KWeather works great in 3.5x. I use it daily.
