I didn't get a proposal first...and I was following a solution for removal of beagle from a post here, from a while ago, and there were no followups saying that it didn't work for someone else, so I "zypper remove *beagle*" and the rest happened automatically...no chance to intervene.
Are you absolutely sure? This would be a very serious bug. zypper will always tell you what it is about to do, and then you get a chance to say yes or no to it. It defaults to "yes" though, so if you just press enter, it will go ahead. But if you don't do anything, it will stop and allow you to interrupt it. So if you really didn't see a prompt, file a bug for it.
