Hello Listmates,
I just installed ATI's new driver from ati-driver-installer-9-3-x86.x86_64.run and all I can say is "It's about time!" Did you get rid of "radeonhd" as Michael recommended?
This is a good put. Also, I failed to mention to uninstall the old flgrx rpm's to help prevent issues. Also, I have a friend running this on a Thinkpad T61 w/ATI card and he has the s2ram working . There was some minor back tracking and troubleshooting to achieve the result. I'm shooting from the hip on this but I belive this program has option "--force --radeontool" which successfully handles with ati graphic cards?? I need to refer back to the the group on this one. -- Thank you, Michael.A.Sterba ARS - KG7HQ Assistant Director/Technical Specialist Northwest Division, ARRL -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
