Nice... Yep, but notice that these files are used by every mail app or webrowser. For example, if you attach a C file to an email, it will now go as text/plain to the recipient of the email. I think there is another similar file that defines what application to use for opening text/x-c++src files, and that has only a local effect... ah, yes, ".mailcap". Use that one.
