You talk about Wastebin, which is big can for trash on a desktop.
The name of the folder where deleted mail goes in KMail, or KMail component
of Kontact, is "trash", not Wastebin. It is located in local folders.
With the en_GB localisation, the name of that folder in kmail is also wastebin
