Listmates, The network manager update completely broke my ability to connect through my wireless adapter on my laptop. The network manager will not even try to get an address no matter what I try (edit my access point config and choose "connect and save" --or-- redo my entire wireless with yast and choose "traditional ifup") Needless to say it is painfully frustrating to have 2 significant "updates" (dbus and network manager) released yesterday and both are so broken as to be pitiful. Who is responsible for testing the "updates" before they go out the door? And, more importantly, what can I do to get a wireless connection again? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
