my opensuse 11.1 (x86) system currently offers me
Patch: aaa_base Kind: recommended Version: 552
from yast2 online_update

at the moment my system is still on
aaa_base-11.1-10007.12.1

is this safe to install, or whats the current situation with this bug
and package you have been discussing in this thread?
will it kill devnull or is this just a special problem with the
original reporters setup?
