Gwenview is incredibly pretty in KDE 4, especially in fullscreen/slideshow mode:

It's also a distinct possibility that it's not Gwenview that I'm remembering from my 10.0 installation. ...
I think you are meaning Kuickview. It was a great image viewer, but alas a kde3 app that apparently hasn't (isn't?) been ported to kde4/qt4 yet.
Yes, that rings a bell, but I think it's KuickShow (I still have my 10.0 root file system on-line and locate still indexes it and that's the closest I could come to Kuickview).
It was something a little nicer than xv for simple viewing (mostly insofar as it scanned for all the images in a directory and let you easily sequence back and forth through them), but not so overburdened with features and GUI elements as is Gwenview.
It's too bad the KDE 3.5 version isn't in the repositories. But if http://kuickshow.sourceforge.net/ is any indication, it hasn't been updated for 7 1/2 years!
It is in the repositories, in the package kdegraphics3-imaging. []'s Marcelo -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
