First, it is still alpha, so it can be finished and fly, or fail.
It is interesting concept that I don't know much about. I'm not one of alpha
testers, so all I can see is http://studio.suse.com/ podcast.

Second, it can make money if one really wants, for instance as a service for
third party appliance builders.
