That's true. I was simply making the point that doing that, clearing out
/tmp and /var/tmp only causes a very s-l-o-w system. This as always been
part and parcel of my standard setup for all systems for a long time,
but with 11.1, it's NOT a good idea. It appears that 11.1 or KDE 4.*, I
really don't know which or both, are much more dependent on the caches
under /var.
