Hello,
OK, here is some new info. After being told other are not experiencing this
issue... I switched my display manager in /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager from
"kdm" to "gdm". Viola! When I use gdm, ctrl-alt-bs simply resets/restarts
the GDM display manager. This does not happen with KDM.
I am wondering if those users who told me ctrl-alt-bs behaves different then
I described are really using GDM. Can someone verify for me ctrl-alt-bs does
not kill the KDM manager and the problem is specific to my system?
- Henrik
