ok. I know where is the source :-) I even recompiled the default kernel (one afternoon work, impressive! the new kernels are big!) - no better result.
Ok :-) But I guess the idea is that you check that the symlink points to the correct cource tree and not and old copy, and that it is the same as the binary kernel you use for booting.
