I've added the build service samba repo to my config, and of course it doesn't show any updates when executing 'zypper lu', because it's not the same vendor as the base system.. Running 'zypper lu -a' shows them.. So, I looked at some options, and I should be able to add valid vendors to a file in /etc/zypp/vendors.d that is supposed to validate them to zypper. If I'm not mistaken.. Looking at 'zypper if samba' gives that 'Vendor: openSUSE Build Service' which isn't surprising, so I made a file in /etc/zypp/vendors.d that has this in it: [main] vendors = opensuse, open, suse But zypper still won't show samba updates as valid... Am I doing things wrong, or do I have to make a manual update to get the vendor change in place? Anders.
