In the preious version of SuSE I was using (10.3), I could set different wallpapers on each desktop. I can't find that option in SuSE 11.1 - Where did they move it to? ( I am running KDE 4.1, I think? )
The KDE team hasn't implemented that yet. They were too busy adding widgets and glitz to it to make it enough like KDE3 that a lot of us can actually use it. Even Linus Torvalds has moved away from KDE because of the KDE4 fiascos. If you use KDE3, you are able to do that. KDE4.0 was an Alpha release. 4.1 was a Beta and 4.2 looks like a Release Candidate. Maybe 4.3 will actually be ready for prime time. Till then, I will stick to openSUSE 11.0/KDE3. I've found zero reason to use 11.1(other than a potential fix for one of my Powerbooks, but till I upgrade the processor, it's not really a usable system.....) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
