1. If I load as a guest opensuse 11 in an opensuse 11.1 host for example it runs as it should and as it does under opensuse 11 host.
2. If I run XP as a guest in opensuse 11 host it loads in about 42 sec.
3. If I run XP as a guest under opensuse 11.1 it loads in more than 5 minutes. I have tried to get a log file running full screen but for some reason the whole thing got frozen and the VM was thrashed so I made another copy and I am working on this part. In summary something is not right.
Nkoli thxs for you help and I appreciate any other tip you may have.

Out of curiosity, did you install any of the vmware packages in yast? I noticed that when I had vmware-kmp and vmx-manager installed, vmware workstation acted very strange. Apart from checking your settings (maybe toggling 3D acceleration) and vmware tools, I'm not sure what else could be the problem.

I uninstall everything that came under the search 'vmware' (I've just checked in opensuse 11.0 and is the same). I installed vmware as an rpm and also as the bundle which basically are the same. The final results are also the same. -=terry=- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
