So this brings up a question that has been nagging me in my use of Kong
filemanager mode and dolphin:

Did they really dumb down Kong (by ripping out perfectly good functionality
such as EXIF, and others) or did they really subvert it to call Dolphin
under the table?

I've noticed the identical bugs in Kong as Dolphin over the development
of KDE 4.  They fix it in Dolphin and it gets fixed in Kong.

Are we being conned?
