Unfortunately that's not the problem. I've used GIMP before, and have created a new document. It shows the paintbrush cursor, and even says "Click to paint..." at the bottom of the image window. However, clicking, dragging, whatever, I can't seem to make a mark on the paper, no matter what foreground/background colors, nor what drawing tool I use. Hi all,
I'm running OpenSuSE 11.0 on my laptop, and I find that GIMP doesn't draw anything. It's responding to all the menus just fine, I can select a pen, and a color (foreground and background) but nothing I do seems to cause it to draw a line.
If I move the mouse around, it will show the painbrush alongside a mouse pointer, and says "Click to paint..." but it doesn't?
Currently GIMP opens empty window without any image in it and users have to go to menu File > New to create new image and then drawing will work.
