zypper says I have libstdc++ (edited for formatting):
Wow I'm surprised you were able to build an rpm for opensuse 11.1. Since the ati 8.11 driver release, building any rpms other than fedora/redhat has failed for me, despite having all make, gcc, etc etc installed.
It didn't build under beta5 or the RC1 for 11.1 but since the release of 11.1 ATI has released 8.12 (ati-driver-installer-8-12-x86.x86_64.run) which includes a builder for 11.1.
I've had to use the built in installer, but it's good to know the rpm can be built. Anyway, to get libstdc++.so.5, I believe you need to install libstdc++33 since 4x provides libstdc++.so.6.
I just tried installing libstdc++33 but I still got the same error as above. However, as it turns out you were more or less correct. I needed: libstdc++33-32bit libstdc++33-devel-32bit It now appears to be building. Thanks.
