Hi.
I would uninstall Gnome as I normally use KDE.
But during that cleaning process, I got too much uninstalled.
I'm aware, that I have uninstalled Yast, Sax2 and Zypper.
And of course much more, that I'm not aware of at the present.
How do I install those packages lacking now using the 11.0 DVD ?.
I think this is the only way to do it, but I might me wrong in that.
Many thanks in advance for any help.
Use rpm directly on the commandline on the mounted image. $ mount /media/cdrom $ cd /media/cdrom/path/to/packages/depending/on/your/arch (i386 or x86_64) $ rpm -Uvh package.rpm -- Mads Martin Joergensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogical, with just a little bit more effort?" -- A.
