Anyone who places such junk ahead of function or other issues has
already insulted themselves.  Take a look in the news where you'll often
read of someone being robbed for jewelry, iPods, cell phones etc., and
ask why they're being robbed for something so worthless.  Take a look at
the car heading down the road with all that flashy garbage and you'll
often seen a car driven by a bad driver etc.  If such "bling" is the
most important thing in your life, then you've got real problems that
have nothing to do with taste.
