[opensuse] ATI driver problem, and openSUSE forums down?

Well I guess I will put my two questions into one email:
1. Has any ATI users out there have a problem with X hanging when their system
starts up some screen savors, by hanging I mean slowly rendering the screen
savor frame by frame and takes 10 minutes to get back to the desktop. The
system says that I have the 8.53.4 version of the driver but I remember
installing 8.9. This just started happening a couple of days ago, before that
the screen savors worked perfectly, makes me wonder if there is a timed
corruption subroutine in the drivers or something because this is the second
time this happened to me.
2. As for the forms, when I tried to access them I get a Page Load Error in
Firefox with the following error:
Redirect Loop
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this
address in a way that will never complete.
The browser has stopped trying to retrieve the requested item. The site is
redirecting the request in a way that will never complete.

* NOTE: If accepting the site's cookies does not resolve the problem, it
is likely a server configuration issue and not your computer.
Is anyone else getting this error?
