Listmates,
Tonights updates of xorg-fonts, jasper, hal and mozilla fail repeatedly with error dialog box messages about missing files to the screen. However, the files are actually in the update repository and the files are actually downloaded to your computer -- they update just partially fails. After the first failure, the dialogs all concerned xorg. Of course with everything going to the qt or gtk crud dialogs (or whatever they are), there is no way to copy the text of the error dialogs to share with the list, so I just took screenshots. Each screenshot is of a separate dialog window error message. The original update listing of files is 54k, the remainder are about 12k. (so much for a 60 byte copy of the text from the error). The list of updates tonight were:

Also, is there a way to copy the text from these dialogs that I don't know about yet? I would really like to be able to post and discuss the errors instead of a string of screenshots, but I haven't been able to with the new dialog.
Also, could these be due to the change to the updater app using the new Package/Policy Kit backend to zypper. I didn't think I had done one of the updates that would force that change yet. The updater app still shows show zypp backend, but the packagekit backend is apparently available as an option.
How should it be changed, since this is 11.0? The text will also appear if you run "zypper up" on a commandline, which is easier to paste. This likely is again the transient error where the metadata is appearing faster on servers than the RPMs. It should go away in some hours, run "zypper refresh".
