Sorry for my mistake.
Not libv555, just live555.
But you don't have to install live555, as Matsumoto-San said.
Anyway, MPlayer can't all the stream, at the moment.
For example,
1. An unable example.
$ mplayer http://www.pref.gifu.lg.jp/pref/gib/5_no1/0809/5280.ram
The reason is not codec, but a format.
2. An able example.
$ mplayer http://www.pref.gifu.lg.jp/pref/gib/5_no1/0507/5083.ram
First of all, you must try with command line like this;
$ mplayer -v <your site>
The "-v" option inform you of all the messages concerning Mplayer's
behaviour.
If MPlayer works fine for this, the problem is in your mplayerplug-in.conf.
Regards,
