Hi all, I have just subscribed to this list. I have been trying to isntall the new Opensuse 11.1 Beta5 but I get an error when the installation is going to begin. It cant mount my harddrive. I am trying to install using the Live CD. Any tip?
If I'm correct in guessing you are a novice in Linux, the best advice is to try instead the stable version, not a beta. If you insist on trying the beta, then it is usually better installing with the DVD, not the live. And if you get an error, and you want help, you'd better tell us the details, specially the exact error you get and the procedure you use - you know, crystal ball are very expensive and quite unreliable these days Also, it is preferably ask in the factory list about betas. Not to forget that if you use a beta, you are expected to help solving the problem >:-) - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
