Bringing the pen of my Aiptek Hyperpen 12000U graphic tablet near the pad crashes X requiring an on-off reboot. The driver is recognised and loaded fine and I have a udev rule to point to the correct device. Bits of /etc/xorg.conf I've changed look like this: Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Configured Mouse" Driver "mouse" Option "CorePointer" Option "Device" "/dev/input/mouse0" Option "Protocol" "ImPS/2" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" Option "Emulate3Buttons" "true" EndSection Section "InputDevice" Identifier "pen" Driver "aiptek" Option "Device" "/dev/input/aiptek" Option "Type" "stylus" Option "Mode" "absolute" Option "Cursor" "stylus" Option "Mode" "absolute" Option "PressCurve" "0,5,95,100" Option "zMin" "0" Option "zMax" "512" Option "ZThreshold" "0" Option "USB" "on" Option "KeepShape" "on" Option "debuglevel" "0" Option "SendCoreEvents" "on" EndSection Section "ServerLayout" Identifier "Default Layout" screen "Default Screen" Inputdevice "Generic Keyboard" Inputdevice "Configured Mouse" "CorePointer" InputDevice "pen" EndSection The tablet works just by plugging it in without any changes to xorg.conf but only as a mouse. There is no pressure and no absolute coordinates. I have 11.0 updated yesterday. Can anyone help? Thanks L x -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
