I have some updates to be installed but every time I get a Package Kit dependency resolution error:
gspcav-kmp-debug-01.00.20_2.6.25.5_1.1-1.1.i586 requires kernel(debug:vmlinux) = ff0248894ddfe8a0, but this requirement cannot be provided
I don't even understand the problem;much less a solution. I tried several google searches and a couple of searches of the Open Suse forum. I discovered that there are lots of word written on this topic but I couldn't find anything that looks like my error message. Would some kind soul help me understand the problem/solution here? I'd appreciate it.
You must have forced an install of the gspcav debug kernel module package (for a webcam), but did not install a debug kernel (or the debug kernel dependency was added after you installed). Just uninstall the debug version and install the regular version. I would guess this is from the OBS driver/webcam repo.
